Why are there image.jpeg.webp and also image.webp files on my disk?
With the version 4.12.8 of ShortPixel Image Optimizer plugin the image.jpeg.web is created and also a symlink named image.webp.
The reason for these 2 identical files is twofold:
1) to serve the correct WebP image in case both image.pngand image.jpg exist.
2) for backward compatibility with some other caching plugins (e.g. Cache Enabler) that weren't able to serve images like image.jpeg.webp
