Loss of color and saturation when uploading images to WordPress

Have you ever noticed that uploading an image to WordPress makes it lose saturation and/or color? This is a common issue in WordPress, unrelated to ShortPixel, as our plugins always keep the color and saturation of the original images when optimizing them.

The explanation is simple: most of the pictures taken are using the Adobe sRGB color space, while WordPress uses the RGB color space. Then, when an image using the Adobe sRGB profile is uploaded to WordPress, it is automatically converted to RGB, and therefore it may lose some color pop.

In order to fix this so your images look on your website as they do on your computer, here's how you can do it: How to Fix Image Color and Saturation Loss in WordPress
