Do you optimize existent WebP images?

No, but ShortPixel can generate the optimized WebP version of any JPG, PNG or GIF image that you have on your Media Library.

Please notice that the change introduced in WordPress 5.8, allowing you to upload WebP images, does not change the behaviour of our plugin; ShortPixel will still ignore any WebP image that you upload, so you should instead generate them from the original images.
